I'm so glad you're here. This little guide has everything you need before your shoot — my pricing, a few handy tips I've picked up along the way, and answers to the questions everyone asks. Have a flick through, and if anything's missing, just shout.

Handy tips from behind the lens
Chase the golden hour
The hour before sunset is pure magic for photos. If we can, we'll plan your couple portraits around it — soft, warm light that makes everyone glow.
Wear something you feel like you in
Comfort shows on camera. For engagement shoots, soft neutral tones photograph beautifully — and leave the logos and busy patterns at home.
Don't worry about posing
That's my job, not yours. I'll gently guide you the whole way, and the best shots usually happen in between the poses anyway.
Build in breathing room
Wedding days run late — they just do. A little slack in the timeline means relaxed photos instead of rushed ones.
Trust the weather
A little rain makes for beautifully moody photos. I always bring a plan B (and umbrellas), so don't let the forecast worry you.
The questions everyone asks
How far in advance should we book?
For weddings, the sooner the better — popular dates go quickly, sometimes a year or more ahead. Engagement shoots can usually be fitted in within a few weeks.
How many photos will we get?
Every gallery is different, but you'll receive a full, carefully edited collection of the best moments — never a strict cap that leaves good photos on the cutting room floor.
How long until we see our photos?
You'll get a little sneak peek within a few days, and your full gallery follows shortly after. I know the waiting is the hardest part!
Do you travel?
Absolutely. I'm happy to travel for weddings and shoots — just tell me where the magic is happening and we'll work out the details.
What if we're awkward in front of the camera?
Then you're in very good company — almost everyone says that! My whole approach is relaxed and unposed, so you'll forget the camera is even there.
How do we secure our date?
Send an enquiry through the Book page and I'll reply within the hour. Once we've had a chat and you're happy, your date is locked in.
